The Pomeroy legacy began in 1066, when Ralph de la Pomeray, a noble knight in service to William the Conqueror, was granted estates across Devon, England. Yet Ralph’s true distinction was not in title or land, but in his hospitality — he understood the power of shared meals: a fire lit, wine poured, stories told, and guests treated not as visitors, but as kin.

That legacy endures today through his direct descendant — our founder, James Pomeroy —  Nearly a thousand years later, as we carry that same spirit full circle into the world of private, in-home dining.
